The purpose of our computing curriculum is to increase the quantity and quality of what our students know; to give them a rich breadth of knowledge and a wide variety of skills to be safe, thrive and strive in today’s digital world. We want our children to be literate and able to access the digital jobs of the future while being able to keep themselves safe and secure online.
Here is an overview of our computing units across the federation. We use Teach Computing as the basis of our curriculum. The scheme is ambitious, creative and exciting for our learners and provides them with the skills they will need to transition into Key Stage 3.
This is a working document and, as always, will adapt to the needs of our children.
